The shelf that my Dreamcast was sitting on broke, and it took my Dreamcast AV cable out with it. My first thought was that I was just going to have to replace it, but then I decided to take a closer look just to see if I could figure out what the issue was. After taking off the plastic casing, I immediately saw what the issue was. The yellow wire was not connected to anything, and a blob of solder sat alone on a pin. After putting it under the microscope, I was able to solder the wire back onto the pin. Once I plugged the cable back into the Dreamcast, I had audio and video again!
